Of Hope And Time:
I had a verse,
Of hope and time,
All cherished want,
A precious rhyme,
#######
I had a song,
It was a name,
Such whisper chill,
A different same,
I had a tale,
Fine writ for me,
It spoke of new,
For all to see,
I had a dream,
Of her to take,
And she would smile,
But now I wake.
A Blessing:
(Poem)
Love is game,
I’ve already lost,
Its rules an enigma,
Too heavy a cost.
Love is an anchor,
An ocean of pain,
Whisper you want me,
I drown on your name.
Love is a trial,
Quick judgment of sight,
But I’ve hurt you dearly,
And lose to the night.
Love is a blessing,
A chance for a try,
Yet you give a silence,
And in it I die.
